Most of our e-mini day traders were finished trading after the first two hours of the trading day. The emini futures started the day in shorts only and that is the direction we were only trading in. It was shorts only, and with setups occurring on both our trade station and ecourse trading. The morning trading charts were generating some beautiful shorts and once we were in the market it just shot down each time we got in. We all moved our stops to break even and then sat on our hands while the futures market went to our projected profit targets. It was a very easy morning trading on our 244 tick charts, and while the 3 minutes es charts missed the down move. For some lucky reason we were all focusing on the 244 tick trading in our live trading room and with over 50 traders in attendance. We do miss moves sometimes with our longer 3 minute time frame, but once the emini trend rolled to longs the 3 minute charts with our ecourse started catching the move.
